IOA Board Fills One of Two Vacated Director Positions, Names New Secretary

In an email to members, the International Ombudsman Association Board announced that two Directors have stepped off due to personal and professional commitments. Ruthy Kohorn Rosenberg and Elaine Shaw have served on the Board since April 2018 and departed in July 2019. Both served as IOA Secretary. 


The Board elected Ronnie Thomson as the new 2019–2020 IOA Secretary and appointed Steve Prevaux, who was the runner-up in the last election, to complete one of the open terms (August 2019 to April 2021). The Board is seeking nominations to fill the other open seat, thereby keeping the size of the Board stable at 15. The nomination period closes August 16, 2019. (IOA Board Nomination.)
