Job Posting: USC Gould School of Law

The law school at the University of Southern California is hiring a part-time lecturer to teach a new two-unit course about Organizational Ombuds. Here's the full job posting:

USC Gould School of Law is seeking a part-time lecturer to Organizational Ombuds for the spring 2020 semester, from January 13 to May 1, 2020. Candidates should have strong legal professional backgrounds, preferably with teaching experience. The course will be taught exclusively to students enrolled in our Master of Dispute Resolution and Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution degree programs.
Organizational Ombuds explores the origin, development and practice of a modern dispute resolution professional, the organizational ombuds. Through a combination of reading, discussion and role play activities, the course will provide practical foundation in the theories, policies and ethical issues of ombuds practice in a variety of workplaces.
USC established its own Ombuds office earlier this year with the appointment of Katherine Greenwood and Tom Kosakowski as University Ombuds. No application deadline or salary were indicated. (USC Careers.)
