U of Arkansas Office of Student Mediation Changing Name to Ombuds Office

The University of Arkansas' Office of Student Mediation and Conflict Resolution is changing its name to University Ombuds Office. The change reflects the broader range of conflict resolution services provided by the ombuds, Sue Theiss. In addition to conflict resolution services, Theiss gives educational presentations in classrooms, holds workshops on conflict resolution theory, practice, and skills, and provides feedback to administrators and members of the campus community.
