Advice for Stopping a Nag
If your visitors complain about being nagged by supervisors or coworkers, Gretchen Rubin has some suggestions to consider:- Answer and acknowledge what was said;
- Commit to a deadline;
- Find a way remind yourself;
- Ask for a reminder;
- Explain why you’re not responding; and
- Do what is being asked.
Sure, the term "nag" is loaded with pejorative connotations, but some of these ideas may be useful. (The Happiness Project.)
