Ganja State University Names First Ombuds for Students

Gəncə Dövlət Universiteti, the public university in Azerbaijan, has appointed Rashad Isgandarov (Rəşad İsgəndərov) as its first Student Ombudsman. The appointment follow the recommendation of a new program in Azerbaijan designed to improve student protections under the Bologna Process: "Advocacy Establishment for Students through Ombudsman Position" (AESOP).
