Caitlan Hendrickson, who served as Director of the UA Office of the Ombuds from 2015 to March 2021, has joined the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a full-time Ombuds. The University of Arizona closed its Ombuds office earlier this year along with several other diversity-related programs in the wake of Covid-budget problems. She also served as the first Conference Ombuds for the American Literary Translators Association this past fall.
