Growth in Cases Continues for Syracuse University Ombuds

Syracuse University Ombuds Neal Powless reports that his case load rose 38% in 2021-22. Although Powless started less than four years ago, he handled nearly 279 cases last year. In addition to case and visitor data, Powless summarized six observed trends again reported sexism, racism and fear of retaliation are serious workplace concerns for his visitors.
