The Office of the Student Ombuds at the public research university in Edmonton is hiring an Undergraduate Ombudsperson. The full-time position reports to the Director of the Student Ombuds, Natalie Sharpe and joins Graduate Ombudsperson, Remonia Stoddart-Morrison and Undergraduate Ombudsperson, Marc Johnson. UAlberta's OSO serves over 40,000 students across four campuses.
Applicants must have college degree and training in and/or certification in Ombuds practice, negotiation, conflict management, mediation, arbitration, or labor relations. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree; experience in restorative practices and administrative tribunal hearings; post-secondary teaching and research skills; and French fluency.
