University of Oregon Ombuds Posts 2023 Annual Report

UO's University Ombudsperson, Brett Harris, said that her office handled 8% fewer cases in 2022-23. The decline to 321 cases followed a robust increase in the prior year. However, the number of hours spent working on cases by Harris and Assistant Ombuds Sarah Ash increased, from 2,600 to 2,800, due to the complexity of cases and other factors.
