The academic medical center is hiring a Director for its Office of Professionalism in the Learning Environment. The new position serves as a designated escalation resource ("confidential, informal, and impartial") available to Residents and Fellows with professionalism concerns and feedback. NYPH is affiliated with Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Center, both of which have their own Ombuds programs.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and five to seven years of previous work-related experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral Degree, "Ombuds Association Foundational Coursework," and mediation and conflict resolution training.
