Two Ombuds Serve Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University

According to a new webpage for the OIST Ombuds Office, Jeff Wickens is the Ombuds and Evan Economo is the Assistant Ombudsperson. Since 2019, they have served as a resource for all employees and students of the highly-ranked research institute (Okinawa Kagaku Gijutsu Daigakuin Daigaku). Wickens is a professor and leads the Neurobiology Research Unit. He earned his BMedSc, MB ChB, and PhD from the University of Otago. Economo is a professor and leads the Biodiversity and Biocomplexity Unit. He graduated from the University of Arizona and earned his PhD at the University of Texas Austin.
