The public research university is looking for two Ombuds to rebuild the office that serves the CU Denver and its Anschutz Medical Campus. The three-person office headed by Melissa Connell recently saw the departures of Teresa Ralicki to Pinterest and Lisa Neale to Harvard. The two Associate Director positions will provide services to faculty, staff, trainees, and students at two campuses in the Denver Metro Area. A hybrid work schedule is available.
Applicants must have a relevant Bachelor’s; at least five years of conflict resolution experience in large, complex organizations including at least three years of experience at a health sciences institution; and be a Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner (CO-OP). Prefered qualifications include a Master’s degree; basic conflict management training; and completion of basic IOA Ombuds training (i.e. Foundations). The positions pay $82,000 – $102,836 per year and applications are due by July 25, 2023. (CU Careers, via LinkedIn Jobs.)
I'm skeptical that anyone with these credentials would be able to move to Denver for that salary.
ReplyDeleteThey can move there; they just can't afford a place to live or to eat
