The public land-grant research university in Laramie has opened a search for its next Ombudsperson, who serves all campus constituents. The full-time position reports to the University President and practices to IOA standards. The office has been significantly upgraded (in terms of reporting line and scope of services) in the past year and a half under Nellie Haddad. The position is not eligible for remote work.
Applicants must have a Master's degree; at least four years of relevant experience; and a basic mediation certificate. Preferred qualifications include Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner (CO-OP) or IOA training. Applications are due by August 22, 2024. No salary indicated. (UW Job Posting.)
