Less than two years after it launched, Twitter's Ombuds office has ended. Dina Eisenberg, who was named the Senior Director of Ombuds Services in February 2021, was one of the many staff laid-off by Twitter in November 2022, when the new owner began a massive restructuring of the social media company. ReplyDeleteIt is somewhat hard to believe that "the new owner" would not want to hear contrary viewpoints, or concerns from less-than-fully happy employees.
