The Australian State is hiring a Workplace Facilitator in Melbourne for its Department of Health and Human Services. The full-time position is essentially that of an Organizational Ombuds -- just the second in the country-- and practices to IOA standards.
Reporting to the DHHS Deputy Secretary for People, Capability and Oversight, the Workplace Facilitator "is an impartial dispute resolution practitioner or ‘designated neutral’ contact person whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to Department of Health and Human Services employees regarding workplace issues, concerns or complaints." The appointment runs through June 30, 2018.
The position pays in the range of $109,567 to $146,622 (AUD). Applications are due November 13, 2016. (Vic DHHS Careers.)
