The large public university in Gainesville is conducting a search for an Ombuds to be appointed by January 1, 2010. The position reports directly to the Provost and serves the student body of 50,000. A master's degree in an appropriate field or a bachelor's degree and two years of appropriate experience are required. A graduate or professional degree with five years of university experience is preferred. The position will pay $50,000 to $75,000 based on qualifications and experience.
