The public college in downtown Denver has announced that it is planning to conduct a nationwide search to fill the new position of Ombuds Officer. The Board of Trustees approved the position last week and included funding in the 2012-13 budget.
A committee, who reviewed programs at other institutions and IOA standards, will screen applicants, with a goal of filling the position by fall. The new office is expected to serve faculty, staff, administrators and visitors to campus. (@Metro.)
