Fulfilling a promise by President Michael Gottfredson earlier this year, OU has opened a search for its first University Ombudsperson. The position will set up a program for faculty, staff, and administrators -- a population of about 27,000.
Preferred qualifications for applicants include: a JD or LLM degree; relevant higher education experience; management, supervision, and organizational development experience;
a mediation certificate; program; and IOA membership.
The one-year position pays $80,000-100,000. Application review starts October 18, 2013. (OU Jobs.)
