Even after retirement, Ron Wilson made it a point to continue to mentor students at UC Irvine. His home was always open to us. He just had a love for students. And we loved him right back. No amount of words can describe how he impacted our lives for the better. There are many socially conscious physicians today who are only physicians because Ron Wilson had a 100% track record for getting us into medical school.
