Wagner, who retired in 2013 as the first Ombuds at Columbia University, was commended for her leadership with the University and College Ombuds Association and, most especially, for her work on the IOA Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner program. Lincoln, who founded the Ombuds Office at UMass Lowell and retired in 2009, was cited for his efforts as the founding editor of the Journal of IOA.
