Julie Schwartz Weber has been named the second Ombuds for Montgomery College. She will be the first full-time Ombuds for the community college just outside Washington, D.C. Sarah Miller Espinosa, who set up the office in August 2013, will stay on as a Special Assistant to the President to help expand the Ombuds Office to students in 2017.
Weber has been the Human Resources Manager at Summit Consulting and has worked at a variety of other institutions including Boston College. She has been a mediator and has completed IOA training. She graduated from Columbia University and earned a JD Boston College. (Inside MC.)
