Job Posting: Inter-American Development Bank

The Latin American development bank is hiring its next Head of Ombuds & Mediation Services. The search will fill a position that has been held by Ellen Connors since early 2023. The position is based at IDB's headquarters in Washington, DC, are reports directly to the President for a five-year term.

Applicants have a Master’s Degree in ADR or a related field, at least 15 years of relevant professional experience (i.e., as a dispute resolution practitioner, Ombuds and/or mediator) with at least five years in a multicultural or international organization; and fluency in English and Spanish, oral and written. Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is preferred. In addition, applicants must be a citizen of one of the Bank's 48 member countries. No salary details. Applications are due July 7, 2024.
