The IMF has opened a search for its next Ombudsperson: a five-year contract position at IMF headquarters in Washington, DC. (Wilbur Hicks has served as the IMF Ombuds for the past five years.) Applicants should have substantial professional experience in fields such as human resource management, mediation conciliation or counseling, and an excellent command of English. Prior work as an Ombuds and/or international experience are particularly desired. Applicants cannot have had any prior employment relationship with the IMF. Salary depends on experience.
