Forum of Canadian Ombudsman Elects Officers for 2013-2015

At the Annual General Meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 11, 2013, FCO elected a Board of Directors and Officers to two-year terms. The FCO Board is comprised of:



President
  • Nora Farrell,  Ombudsperson at Ryerson University
Vice Presidents
  • Laura Bradbury, former Fair Practices Commissioner (Ombudsman) for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario
  • Johanne Savar, Ombudsman de Montréal
Secretary
  • J. Paul Dubé, Canada’s Taxpayers’ Ombudsman
Treasurer
  • Doug Melville, Ombudsman and CEO of Ombudsman for Banking Services & Investments
Past President
  • Kevin Fenwick, Ombudsman for the Province of Saskatchewan
Board Members
  • Fiona Crean, Ombudsman for the City of Toronto
  • Barry Fleming, Citizens’ Representative for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Howard Sapers, Correctional Investigator of Canada
  • Joëlle Thilbault, Employee Ombudsman for Hydro Québec
