The public university in Miami has opened a search for a Student Ombudsman. The position holds the title of Assistant Dean and serves as a resource for nearly 50,000 students on two campuses. The search will replace Larry Lunsford, who served as the Ombuds for the past nine years and was recently promoted to Vice President for Student Affairs.
Applicants must have at least a master's degree and eight years of experience in related field. The full-time position pays $75,000-90,000 per year and applications are due by August 14, 2013. (FIU Job Posting.)
