CSUSB has appointed Milton Clark to serve as its next Ombuds Director. At the same time, the university removed responsibility for gender equity issues from the Ombuds role with the addition of a new, separate Title IX office. (The first CSUSB Ombuds, Tera Bisbee, was the "Director of Ombuds and Gender Equity.")
Clark retired last year from his position as Associate Professor of English and Dean of Undergraduate Studies after a long career at CSUSB. He graduated from the university and earned an MA and PhD from the University of California, Riverside. (CSUSB Admin. Council Meeting Minutes.)
