Here are more details from the announcement:
Come learn about Ombudsmanship from the Organizational Ombuds of the Asian Development Bank and the Ombuds from McKinsey!
As multinational companies face both the value and challenges of working in dynamic and diverse settings, they are seeking more efficient ways to resolve workplace concerns. Accordingly, companies are increasingly implementing organizational ombudsman programs to assist people at all levels of an institution in preventing conflict, managing current issues constructively and resolving systemic patterns that contribute to recurrent problems. The Organizational Ombuds office offers coaching, mediation, facilitation and provides systemic feedback to strengthen ADB as an institution.
In this free interactive talk, you will learn about how Organizational Ombuds can support Diversity, increase engagement, reduce conflict, and enhance your organization in an effective----and cost effective!----way! The speakers welcome your questions to help us consider how the Organizational Ombudsman concept might work in a Japanese context. The event takes place in the evening and is free. (AllEvents.)

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have the one ombuds whose practice is strictly in Japan for a Japanese company there? Or one of the other Japanese University ombuds people? Nick and Charmhee are great and will lead a vibrant discussion I have no doubt. But feels like including Tada-san or some of the others would be a positive addition.

Noriko Tada was indeed at the core of organizing and convening this meeting at Hitotsubashi University, as well as a few other meetings held in Tokyo in November. We were also joined by Bruce McLin, a long time resident in Japan and formerly with Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, who contributed to translating the presentation materials into Japanese.
