Texas A&M College of Medicine Opens Ombuds Office

Earlier this year, the public medical school in Bryan, Texas appointed its first two Ombuds: Erin Herbrich is the Staff Ombudsman; and Bobbie Ann "BA" Adair White is the Faculty Ombudsman. The College of Medicine is part of the Texas A&M Health Science Center, which has its own Academic Ombuds, Robin Dickey.

Herbrich has worked at the College since 2011 and is also a program manager in Academic Affairs.  She graduated from Texas A&M University and earned a Masters of Public Health from the Texas A&M School of Public Health.

White has worked at the College since 2006. She currently serves in both faculty and staff roles in the Department of Humanities and Office of Medical Education.  She also serves as a term faculty member for Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions. She graduated from the University of North Texas, and earned a EdD at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of New Haven.
