The private liberal arts college in Hartford, Connecticut, has unveiled a website for its new Ombuds program — "a neutral, independent, confidential and informal resource" for its 900 employees. Trinity's Staff Ombudspersons are Kristin Bierly Magendantz and Carrie Robinson, and the Faculty Ombud is Shane Ewegen. All three have on-going jobs at the college.
Magendantz is the Director of Faculty Grants & Sponsored Research. She graduated from Bates College in Maine and earned a law degree from the Northeastern University School of Law. Robinson is the Director of LGBTQ+ Life at Trinity. She earned a BA from Eastern Connecticut State University and an MA from Central Connecticut State University. Ewegen is an Associate Professor of Philosophy. He graduated from the University of Denver, and earned an MA and PhD at Boston College. (Trinity Ombuds.)
