The
Office of the UN Ombudsman and Mediation Services is accepting applications for an unpaid internship in its New York headquarters. The temporary position is full-time and will last at least two to six months. The intern will help UNOMS prepare for and conduct dialog sessions for a new task force established by the Secretary-General for Addressing Racism and Promoting Dignity for All. Due to the pandemic shut down, all work will be conducted remotely for the foreseeable future. Applicants must be an enrolled student (or within a year after graduation) and be computer literate in standard software applications. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or another official UN language is desirable. The posting period for the internship ends December 18, 2020. (UN Careers.)
