The Canadian multinational banking and financial services company is hiring a Manager for its Staff Ombuds Office. Based in Toronto, the position "provides an independent, confidential, impartial, off-the-record resource for Scotiabank employees and retirees globally who are experiencing workplace issues or concerns." Maria Clara Jimenez has held the position since 2010.

Applicants must have: a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; ADR certification (such as Stitt, Feld, Handy); completion of Ombuds Essentials or IOA Foundations of Organizational Ombuds Practice; high degree of fluency in English and Spanish; 5 to 7 years of experience in an HR or management role; significant experience in conflict resolution; and expert knowledge of employment law and human resources practices.
