Externship: Financial Industry Regulatory Authority

FINRA's Office of the Ombudsman is offering an opportunity for a graduate student to extern in its Rockville, MD office. The extern must be earning course credit and be able to work at least 15 hours a week during the Fall 2013 semester.

FINRA externs perform a variety of tasks including research, analyses and writing, document review, preparation for investigative interviews, as well as providing assistance in developing quarterly and annual management reports. Applicants must submit a resume, cover letter and graduate school transcript. Knowledge of securities and ADR preferred, but not required. Knowledge of securities preferred, but not required.  Securities industry experience also a plus. (FINRA Careers.)
