Baker Hughes Names Ombuds for Canadian Operations

The Organizational Ombuds Office (“o3”) for the oilfield services company has appointed Josie Stiles as its Canada Ombuds, based in Calgary, Alberta. As Baker Hughes’s newest Ombuds, Stiles will be an independent, neutral, informal, and confidential conflict management resource and advisor who will ensure workplace issues are addressed promptly, fairly, and at the appropriate level.

Stiles joins Baker Hughes with over 20 years’ experience in the design, implementation and practice of conflict management in large multicultural and matrix organizations from a variety of sectors. Most recently, she has been a Public Engagement and Dispute Resolution Specialist for the Canadian National Energy Board. She has also taught at the University of Calgary’s Conflict Management certificate program. Stiles earned her Master’s Degree in conflict management from Royal Roads University.
