The USA Network has ordered a new original series about a mediator. "Facing Kate" follows Kate Reed, a frustrated litigator turns away from the bureaucracy and injustice in the legal system to become a neutral."This is someone who lives in a world of a constant conflict," said USA president of original programming Jeff Wachtel. "With traditional lawyers, it's always one wins, one loses; in mediation, the goal is to have win-win." The Hollywood Reporter broke the story and tagged mediators as 'the ultimate anti-lawyers.'
