The Ivy League school in Upstate New York is hiring an Associate Ombudsperson, a two-year renewable term, half-time (20 hours) position reporting to the Director and University Ombudsman, Linda Falkson. "The Assistant Ombudsperson routinely handles sensitive and confidential information, emotionally charged and complex situations, and independently exercises considerable judgment."
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and five to seven years’ experience in employment regulations and practices, policy application, higher education administration, law or the field of conflict resolution; experience as an Ombuds is specifically valued, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
