Meet the New Associate Ombuds at Florida Gulf Coast University

In June 2020, Charlotte (Fontes) Bingham became the first Assistant Ombuds at the public university in Fort Myers. She joins University Ombuds Monique McKay and serves as a resource for all FGCU stakeholders, a population of nearly 20,000.


Bingham has worked at FGCU for nearly seven years, most recently as International Program Coordinator. Previously, she also worked at Florida SouthWestern State College. Bingham graduated from the University of Central Florida, and earned a Master's at FGCU. She currently working on a PhD at Purdue University. (LinkedIn.)
