University of Louisville Ombuds Shares Annual Report
UofL's University Ombuds, Diane Tobin, reports that she assisted 275 between July 2021 and August 2023. This is a significant increase over the past decade, when the office handled fewer than 100 cases in a typical year. In a report given to the Faculty Senate, Tobin identified ten emergent trends in her cases. She also offered some hope as the university has appointed several new leaders. (UofL Ombuds 2023 Report.)
