The public university in Kentucky has hired Diane Tobin as its next University Ombuds. Tobin reports to the provost and serves a student population of about 23,000 in addition to faculty and staff. She succeeds Acting Ombuds, Robert Staat.
Tobin previously had been the Special Assistant to the President of the Kentucky Center in Louisville. Her resume also includes an eight year stint as a faculty member at Spalding University.
