Billy Struemke has been hired as the next Ombuds for the public community college in Rockville, Maryland. He will provide services to 3,000 administrators, faculty, and staff. Struemke follows Allison Monyei Whaley, CO-OP, who moved to a Federal Ombuds position last spring.
Struemke began his career as a criminal prosecutor after serving in the U.S. Army. He is currently a lieutenant colonel in the Army National Guard and an independent ADR consultant providing mediation and Ombuds services. He graduated from Colorado State University and earned his JD at Widener University Commonwealth Law School.
