Organizers invite proposals from individual speakers, as well as from groups wishing to co-present or assemble a panel discussion or other innovative format. Historically, sessions have been between 50 and 75 minutes (including Q & A) but other lengths may be proposed. Speakers may be asked to join into complementary groups. Presentations may be delivered in either French or English as simultaneous interpretation will be provided. Sessions may be recorded and made available to registrants after the conference. Call for Proposals: FCO-ACCUO 2024 Biennial Conference
The Forum of Canadian Ombudsman and the Association of Canadian College and University Ombudspersons are seeking speaker proposals for their 2024 biennial conference, "Ombuds on Edge: Tackling Challenges, Evolving Practices, Enduring Principles." The event is set for October 22-24 at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC. The conference will include two and a half days of presentations, learning sessions, networking time, social events, and more.
