University of Hawaii Releases Annual Report

The Office of the Ombuds at UH Manoa saw an 8% increase in visitor traffic in the 2007-08 academic year. Cases involving interpersonal disputes and incivility increased to become the most common issues encountered, while grade disputes were the second most common issue. The UH Ombuds said that three serious issues -- financial aid, grades, and incivility -- warrant further attention on a systemic level. (UH Ombuds Annual Report.)
