Today, the Organizational Ombudsman Blog has a post about Laura Lonsdale, who has been the Ombuds at Tyco since 2007. Somehow, it escaped my attention that Lonsdale was the only Ombuds selected by Directorship Magazine as a rising star among corporate governance professionals under the age of 40. Under Lonsdale's leadership, the Tyco Ombuds office office serves about 1,100 employees globally in addition to shareholders and stakeholders -- certainly a big task in the wake of Dennis Kozlowski's fraud and self dealing.
