The international, non-profit organization that provides leadership in Internet related standards, education, and policy has adopted a policy that calls for the establishment of an on Ombudsperson.
In late 2013, ISOC's Internet Engineering Task Force approved an Antiharassment Policy that provides an Ombuds for confidential assistance. Details about the implementation or appointment of an Ombuds have not been published. The ISOC has more than 130 organizational and 55,000 individual members.
