The academic medical center in Portland is hiring an Ombudsperson.  The half-time position will serve as "a designated neutral or impartial dispute resolution practitioner whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to constituents of the School of Medicine faculty and research staff"--a total population of about 5,000. 


Applicants must have an advanced degree in mediation, conflict or dispute resolution, and at least three years of professional experience. An advanced degree in other fields may be appropriate provided the applicant has relevant experience.
