The
public university in Toronto has appointed two Assistant Ombudsperson: Heather McGhee Peggs and Katharina Ploss. They join University Ombudsperson Nora Farrell while Ayesha Adam, who has been an Assistant Ombuds at Ryerson since 2009, is on a leave for 2014.
Peggs graduated from Queen's University and earned an LLB from the University of British Columbia. She completed the comprehensive ADR and Advanced ADR training with the Stitt Feld Handy Group and is a mediator member of the ADR Institute of Ontario.
Ploss earned an MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Sabancı Üniversitesi, an MS Applied Social Psychology from the University of Sussex, and a PhD from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.
