North Dakota's oldest and largest university has appointed Brett Harris to serve as its first permanent Ombuds, starting July 1.
She is currently an attorney and mediator in Idaho, including working as the Mediation Program Coordinator for Idaho’s 7th Judicial District. Previously she investigated high conflict custody cases for two years for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and completed an internship at Idaho Legal Aid. She earned her JD from the University of Idaho.
