The private university in Upstate New York will hire its first Associate Ombudsperson. Reporting to the long-time University Ombuds, Lee Twyman, the position will help administer the office and provide services, including training to all members of the RIT Community. The role will practice to IOA standards.
Applicants must have at least three years experience in conflict management, organizational change, or as an Organizational Ombudsperson, or closely related field in a higher education setting, and a master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or closely related field. In addition, applicants must have a, "high level of skill in American Sign Language. The range for the position is $58,400 to $93,400. No application deadline indicated. (RIT Job Posting.)
