Columbia's School of Professional Studies (which offers a MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution), will sponsor a webinar: "Challenges for Global Ombuds Programs." Set for October 5, 2017, the one-hour webinar is free for those who RSVP.
Columbia's NECR Academic Director Beth Fisher-Yoshida will be joined by John Zinsser, who will give an overview of the ombuds profession in both corporate and NGO programs and discuss the challenges of doing this work for a global organization. Zinsser is a faculty member and the Ombudsman for the International Committee of the Red Cross. (Columbia NECR Webinar Info.)
