The California State University campus in Silicon Valley seeks applications for its next University Ombudsperson. The full-time, solo position serves as a conflict resolution resource for 33,000 students and is administratively located within the Division of Student Affairs. For the past two years, Evelyn Castillo Ramos has been the SDSU Ombuds.
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a social science field and five years of student services experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and experience as an Ombuds in higher ed. The priority deadline is May 14, 2018. No salary indicated. (InsideHigherEd.)
