Martine Conway has been named the new Ombudsperson for the University of Ottawa in Ontario. Previously, she had been the Ombuds for the University of Victoria, in British Columbia for nearly two decades. Conway will lead an office at uOttawa that serves the entire campus, including 42,000 students.
The uOttawa Office of the Ombudsperson is funded jointly by the student associations and the university and was previously headed by Lucie Allaire. (uOttawa Gazette.)
